Neurostimulation

The principle of neurostimulation is to mobilize the patient using electro-stimulation after a neurological event such as a stroke or paraplegia. The ability to perform everyday functional movements is practiced and reestablished. Otto Bock has developed the four-channel stimulator STIWELL med4 and the neuro-prosthesis ActiGait® for this purpose. Both devices offer completely new treatment and therapy options in the neurostimulation field.
