Hip Abduction Orthosis

Effects:

• Based on the principles of the proven sitting-squatting position with hip flexion greater than 90 and moderate abduction.

Features:

• Anatomically-shaped femoral shells that can be adjusted in width
• Precise abduction angle adjustable via the abduction unit
• Femoral shells connected by two sturdy ball joints

Indications:

• Treatment of hip dysplasia in infants (hip types lla and llb according to Graf)
• Unstable or decentered hips (llc and lld) when monitored at frequent intervals by experienced orthopedic physicians)
